MAJA LENA ANTARES

Maja Lena's mystical musings have drawn us in over the course of her debut album campaign. Continuing that dynamic with a gentle new tune, 'Antares' is another enticing early taste of The Keeper (due out via Chiverin Records on the 23rd of July). Lena explains (the song) “is named after the red supergiant star Antares, which is also one of the brightest visible in the Earth’s night sky and the brightest star in Scorpius. The star is also nearing the end of its life." Sonically tapping into the solar system vibes, producer Rob Pemberton adds “We went for sparkly dreamy vibes on this one. We tried to make it float along, but it was also time for a massive riff.” Having perfectly balanced the track's melodic and atmospheric elements, it seems the stars were aligned when the pair created 'Antares'. -Holly Mullineaux
